Master of Medical Management Curriculum

Heinz College / Heinz College Master's Degree Programs / Master of Medical Management For Physicians / Master of Medical Management Curriculum

The Master of Medical Management for Physicians (MMM) is a cohort-based professional degree program exclusively for physicians with five or more years of post-residency experience, designed to promote effective management techniques among health care practitioners.

The Medical Management master's degree program at Heinz College is the ideal fit for physicians who wish to transition into executive and leadership roles at health organizations and who want to be equipped with financial, leadership, quantitative and management skills when making that leap. In addition to learning from world-renowned faculty, physicians in the program gain valuable insight and assistance with career planning through one-on-one professional coaching.

Graduates of the program expand more than their leadership capacity. The cohort-based, hybrid format of the program is suited for busy physicians and brings students together on campus, extending graduates’ professional networks to include colleagues who are fellow future leaders in health care.

Prospective students who are interested in health care leadership, policy, and innovation, but do not possess a medical degree (MD or DO), should consider the Master of Science in Health Care Analytics (MSHCA) program.

Curriculum

The Master of Medical Management program uses a hybrid format blending distance learning with on-campus visits. See the Cohort Calendar for key dates.
