We are committed to enabling the next generation of changemakers to create the impact they desire.
Students selected for the Heinz College Fellowship receive a full-tuition scholarship. One of our most prestigious awards, selected students are identified as part of the standard admissions process. No additional application is required.
The Heinz College Fellowship is a cohort-based leadership and engagement program that brings together a small group of incoming students across all programs in the college who will help strengthen our community, contribute to the life of the College, and serve as thoughtful partners in shaping the student experience.
Heinz Fellows are expected to participate in College-wide activities and a shared experience with a small cohort of other students. This program is intended to enrich and further prepare emerging leaders who share a commitment to academic excellence, professional impact and service in their fields.
As a Heinz Fellow you will have an opportunity to further shape and influence our programs and student experience. You will participate in the quarterly Fellows Forum and other events that help foster community, creativity and engagement across the College and University. Other benefits of the program and ways you may represent the college include:
Networking with executives or alumni in your area of interest
Engaging in various forums with local and national leaders visiting campus
Receive support identifying paid academic-year fellowship opportunities, either as a research assistant on campus or through an internship with an external organization
Mentorship and personalized, one-on-one guidance from experienced professionals
Attend the quarterly Fellows Forum breakfast to build community, exchange ideas and foster connection
Represent the Heinz College at University and other engagements
Support the development of programming and provide feedback on existing initiatives
