As a data scientist at the FDA, Quentin Auster (MSPPM '24) uses AI and data analytics to help streamline drug review processes and strengthen public health decision-making. His Heinz College education prepared him to connect technology to policy, enabling him to develop innovative solutions that improve government services. "The policy curriculum from CMU has helped me be a translator between engineers, the implementers and the people who design guardrails," Auster said.
