Sponsorships

Organizations interested in supporting Heinz College can engage in several ways. Recent sponsorships have included the Verizon Foundation Distinguished Lecture Series and the annual Deloitte Consulting Student Challenge competition. Grants from corporations and foundations also support internships, scholarship funds and new educational initiatives.

Student Projects

Many classes require students to put their education into practice by working on real- world public interest issues. Projects focus on topics such as strategic planning, public management and organization, IT solutions and IT management. Students benefit from the chance to apply their skills, and organizations benefit from getting fresh ideas and solutions to current challenges.

Student Recruiting

Heinz College prepares more than 250 students each year for jobs in the public, private and non-profit sectors. Additionally, most of our students are required to complete summer or academic year internships. Faculty Research

Heinz College faculty members are leading opinion makers in their fields. With the help of public and private support through research grants and corporate affiliate programs, these scholars are able to continue cutting-edge research in a number of public interest areas.

Executive Education

Heinz College Executive Education offers a suite of certificate programs designed to prepare technology and digital leaders for the challenges of the modern enterprise. Current programs include the Chief Information and Digital Officer (CIDO), Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Chief Risk Officer (CRO), Chief Data and AI Officer (CDAIO), and Leading Enterprise Agentic AI Development (LEAAID) certificates. Programs are delivered primarily through live virtual sessions, with select in-person residency components. Custom programs can also be developed to meet your organization's specific training needs.
